PAMELA CARLTON, PRINCIPAL RESEARCHER
Pamela is the co-founder of The Everest Project. She has over 20 years of investment banking experience as a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, and prior to that, Morgan Stanley. More recently, Pamela has worked for over 10 years in the area of executive leadership and diversity, as founder and President of Springboard – Partners in Cross Cultural Leadership. She has conducted culture assessments for numerous Fortune 500 companies, including assessing leadership opportunities and obstacles for women and women of color. Springboard was commissioned by The Executive Leadership Council to conduct research on the opportunities and challenges for black women in corporate America, which culminated in the report, Black Women Executives Research Initiative. A graduate of Williams College, Pamela holds JD and MBA degrees from Yale University. She is on the Boards of Yale School of Management, New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia Mutual Funds Complex of Ameriprise.
