Working Committee:
The working committee consists of Chairman,
Vice-Chairmans, Secretary
General, Treasurer and other four Executive Members. The Executive Body
members will be elected by electoral system from active, life-long and
general members. The working period of them will be of three years.

1. Chairman: Kaji Sherpa
Born and brought up in Tamakhani VDC-3,
Solukhumbu, he made records on climbing Mt. Everest in 20 hours and
24 minutes, on the occasion of �Visit Nepal-98� which was entered
into the �Guinness Book of World Records� and he is known as �Speed Kaji�. He has received many
honors and accolades in national and
international levels. He is an experienced mountaineer and
summiteers
of many mountain peaks having 36 expeditions to his credit. He has
the capability to lead an expedition having leadership quality.

2. Vice-Chairman (1st): Capt. Nar Bahadur Gurung, S.M
An ace mountaineer of international fame and an
Ex-Military veteran winning many honors and awards he hails from
Kaski- Pokhara, Nepal. He is an instructor for skiing and
mountaineering and Himalayan climber having 22 expeditions under his
belt. Worth to mentioned is his well celebrated Trans Himalaya
expedition which traverse the entire Himalayan range from Arunachal
to Karakuram in 475 days from January 1981 to May 1982, a world
record. He is the coordinator and technical adviser to successful
Indian army Everest expedition 2001, Annapurna Expedition 2002 and
Joint Indo-Nepal Army Everest- Lhotse Expedition 2003. At present, he is working for the Everest Peace Project coordinating
in all
technical aspects.

Vice-Chairman (2nd): Angtemba Sherpa
Mr. Angtemba Sherpa was born in Chaurikharka
VDC-3, Solukhumbu. He did modeling for world famous watch, �Best and
Watch� of Switzerland and some products in Nepal. Mr. Sherpa is
interested in travel, trekking, piloting, paragliding and
handgliding.

4. Secretary General: Keshab Pd. Niroula
Mr. Keshab Prasad Niroula is a resident of
Salyan-VDC-2, Solukhumbu. He started his career from hotel and took
an active role in the worker movement of 2046 BS, and became a founder
member of central committee of Nepal Trade Union Congress (048-051).
At present he teaches at Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Education,
Department of History, Kathmandu.

5. Treasure:
Nima Dendi Sherpa
Mr. Nima Dendi Sherpa, Solukhumbu District,
Gundel VDC-9, is a mountaineering profile. He has been working with
various trekking associations like, NMA, TAAN as executive member. He is
a social worker and running many projects in the rural areas. As a
experienced climber and a trekker is running an agency as Managing
Director of GATES (P) Ltd. He has been visiting to the USA and European
countries frequently in communication with planning and organizing
expeditions and trekking programs.

6. Member: Lhakpagelu Sherpa
Mr. Sherpa is a resident of Kharikhola Solukhumbu,
and has created a new record in mountaineering by climbing Mt.
Everest in 10 hours and 56 minutes in Spring 2003 on the occasion of
Mt. Everest Golden Jubilee Celebration. He climbed Mt.� Everest ten
times.

7. Member: Dawa Jangbu Sherpa
Mr. Sherpa is a resident of Tamakhani-9, Loding
Solukhumbu. He is in the field of teaching profession and has also
been involving in mountaineering and tourism.

8. Member: ND
Sherpa
Mr. Sherpa
holds an M.Sc. degree in statistics. In the development sector, Mr.
Sherpa he has worked as a PRA/APPA facilitator. Furthermore, he has
experience in tourism, gender sensitization, presentation, and
report writing; and has facilitated baseline data surveys and
analyses, planning, and monitoring workshops in several mountain
regions. |

9. Member: Lhakpa Ongdu Sherpa
Mr. Sherpa is a resident of Goli VDC-7 Solukhumbu, and is a contractor
by profession and has also been involving in Mountaineering� and
social activities.
